Ants · Harlow & West Essex
Spraying the ants you can see rarely solves the problem. We treat the colony so the trail stops coming back.
01 Signs to look for
02 Procedure
We follow the trail back to where the ants are getting in and, where possible, to the nest.
We use baits the ants carry back to the colony, plus targeted treatment of nests and entry points.
We explain how to keep the treated area clear and reduce what is attracting the ants.

07 Questions
If the colony survives, it will keep sending out workers. Treating the source is the most reliable way to stop them.
Flying ants usually appear for a few days in summer as part of the breeding cycle. If they are coming from inside the building, there may be a nest that needs treating.
Most calls are about black garden ants coming indoors. We also treat nests under patios, paving and around foundations.
Black garden ants are mainly a nuisance. They do not damage buildings, but they can contaminate food left out in kitchens and on worktops.
We place baits away from food preparation areas and explain how to keep the treated area clear while the colony is dealt with.
