07 Questions

Wasp nest removal FAQs

Q.01

Should I try to remove a wasp nest myself?

We do not recommend it. Disturbing a nest can cause wasps to sting in large numbers. It is safer to have it treated professionally.

Q.02

When is wasp season?

Nests start in spring and are largest in late summer. Most call-outs are between June and September.

Q.03

Do you remove bee nests?

Honey bees are important pollinators, so we do not destroy them. Call us and we will advise on the best option.

Q.04

How quickly does wasp nest treatment work?

Activity usually drops within a few hours. Wasps returning from foraging may be seen around the entrance for a short time afterwards.

Q.05

Does the nest need removing after treatment?

Not usually. Once treated, the colony dies off and wasps do not reuse old nests, so it can normally be left in place unless it is somewhere you need to clear.

Q.06

Do you offer wasp nest removal near me?

If you are in or around Harlow, yes. We provide wasp nest removal across Harlow, Epping, Loughton, Theydon Bois, North Weald, Ongar and Debden, for homes, rented properties and businesses. Call 07388 896412 to arrange a visit.
